Beerwheel is a small reference utility that simply allows the user to scroll through a list of common flavors found in beer. When tasting or rating beer, it can be very handy to have a visual guide to the flavor profiles and how they relate to each…..
Rated 3/5 based on 3 customer reviews.
Good start, but needs improvement
Timothy Gartman write:
First, add flick and momentum. It feels odd to have this wheel that you spin with your finger, but then have it just stop abruptly.
Second, adding a description system for non-obvious flavors would help those using it as a learning tool.
Lastly, resolution is too low for iPhone 4.
Otherwise well done
Ok start. Will Re-review with new versions
Right now it's just an image that rotates. As others have said momentum and a higher res image would be nice.
Several flavors are undesirable in beer and it'd be nice to see details on causes.
It'd be nice to select a BJCP style and have areas of the wheel highlight that should and should not be in the beer.
A database to store tasting notes would also be useful and easy to program.
All in all I like the layout of the wheel and really hope to see this app grow so you can make some money on it.

I agree with the previous review to add flick and momentum. Further detail on each flavor component and why/how they're found in beer, as well as what they signify would be excellent.
Overall, basic, but handy to have around for tastings.
The resolution desperately needs to be improved to be on par with the iPhone 4's Retina Display.
